I’m getting the Mirena IUD today to help with my Endometriosis pain (and obviously to not have babies lol). I have heard so many mixed stories. I’ve heard people say it feels no different than a Pap smear, and I’ve heard people say they threw up from how bad the pain was. I’ve also heard people say how miserable they are once in.
I’m really nervous so I just need some positive stories and reassurance that I will make it out alive, haha! I have bad anxiety so I’m really nervous and overthinking it. I’m gonna ask if I can take my anxiety medicine beforehand to help relax.
