I’m not old enough to sterilize myself, but I’m old enough to have a baby?

So I’m 22f and I’ve been trying to talk to my doctors about a 10 year IUD or sterilization, but she doesn’t want to do anything permanent or super long term because I’m too young and “might want kids in a few years”. I’m just frustrated that she won’t even give me an IUD unless I get the 3 year one. I don’t want kids, especially kids I can pass my health and mental health problems onto. Why am I old enough to get pregnant but too young to make decisions about my body? I’m looking for another doctor, but is this a normal thing? A doctor not even wanting to give me a long term IUD?
