Hi, I’m writing a book that has a female character in it and I would like your help. Here’s some things about the character that I have come up with already:
Plays guitar and sings. Is an artist. Been in multiple unsuccessful relationships. Never felt “love” had people that she was attracted to but when she got to know them she got turned off. Used to do archery. Anime profile pic on harmony (made up messaging app) male she drew it.
An important detail to the story is that she is depressed and suicidal. Because of the depression she is unemployed.
Could you please let me know if you don’t like any of the things I went through?
Also, I know I’m probably being strange and all but would you be able to tell me anything about previous relationships you’ve been in like why you broke up and mainly how it felt before during and after the relationship.
Finally, would you be able to tell me a bit about what it was like to be a girl in high school and then in your early twenties up to around twenty five (if you’re that old)?
If there are any mistakes you think male writers make when writing strong female characters or if there are particular things that any author does write when doing so, please let me know.
Thanks for reading this and I hope you have a nice day!
