I’m having trouble finding my most-used apps on iOS spotlight (I use it as a shortcut). On my MacOS Mail app, it doesn’t find people I’m constantly in touch with, if I try to filter my vast inbox to find a specific message. The menu bar Spotlight produces way too many (shitty/far-off) results for it to be useful. I thought Apple improved Spotlight quite recently? Did they move the team to the (rumored) Search Engine project or what? Or am I doing something wrong?
(On MacOS, every checkbox is checked for results in the Settings. I’m running the most recent version of everything. It’s been a while since I updated, so everrything should be well indexed by now.)
