Already manually muted social media/website audio through the app/webpage itself? Too bad, we’re still gonna pause your music to prioritize the muted social media app or webpage.
Did you set the website permissions via Safari to only allow audio if prompted first? Too bad, we’re gonna pause your music anyway when you browse the site.
Don’t even have a video playing on social media or the website you’re viewing? Too bad, the page might, at some point, want to play audio, so no music for you.
Did we pause your music just to prioritize audio from a different app? Just resume your music in the Control Center…PSYCHE! We purged your music from the cache and now you need to go back to the music app itself to resume playback, rather than just hitting “play” in the control center.
For Christ’s sake, just let me listen to music while I’m using my phone, why is that so hard?
