Why does Apple livestream their events instead of using the “Premiere” feature on YouTube?

Since the pandemic, Apple started to pre-record their events and publish them on YouTube. Something that I’ve noticed but didn’t really understand is that Apple chooses to broadcast their events through livestreams instead of using the “Premiere” feature that YouTube offers. (You can check for yourself on previous Apple events)

But why do they do this, since there isn’t anything live?

Is there any advantage to livestreaming? I can only think of disadvantages, for example, if the computer that livestreams the event loses an internet connection (even though this is extremely unlikely for Apple).
