Hi, promise it’s not what it looks like from the title, but I’m just trying to come to more understanding with the sex positivity movement from a womans prespective.
I was wondering if it’s more of a freedom to gain respect for ourselves and others, or a freedom just for freedoms sake.
When I see the sex positivity movement, I see great parts of it that progress society toward a space where there is more thoughtfulness toward ourselves, and openness in conversation so we can talk about how we approach healthy sex. But then there’s a side of it that turns into thoughtless dangerous “fun”.
Just wanted to hear if people have seen the same as me, have different outlooks on it, or what have you. Thanks for reading!
