There is an argument to be made that China is just as dependent on Apple as Apple is on them (because Apple is responsible for employing so many Chinese citizens), so I feel that Apple is actually in a far safer position that people give them credit for.
Not to mention that today’s friend could be tomorrow’s enemy and vice versa.
At the end of the day, Apple doesn’t exist to fight a country’s political battles for them.
