What’s your best “you had one job…” fail story?

I was supposed to work two jobs for one winter to pay off major debt. This was the agreement/plan worked out by me and my accountant.

I lost the second job after one day. I kept working the first. Didn’t tell the accountant.

At the end of the winter, I didn’t have enough to pay off my debt. As my accountant looked over my records, he realized a source of income was missing. He realized I hadn’t kept the second job.

He looked up at me in shock and said “You had one job…”
