Crimes of passion were supposed to be like your wife/husbando cheats and you kill them because you’re out of your mind when supposedly you wouldn’t hurt anyone otherwise. Turns out people are murders or they aren’t. Punishing people worse or not as much because of motive is the stupidest shit ever.
