What’s the worst way you’ve seen someone try to justify their shitty behaviour?

By gaslighting all of my friend group that kicking his girlfriend in the ribs was an acceptable thing to do.

It didn’t work at all and she’s no longer with him and is part of our group now it was fucking mental.
