It’s unfair to everybody, because fairness isn’t something the universe gives a single flying fuck about. Human beings, and some of the smarter animals, are the only things that have a concept of fairness, and it’s something we have to create out of thin air…because it does not exist in the universe otherwise.
The universe is unfair by default.
