what happens with crash detection if your iPhone breaks during the car accident. Happens all the time. Are you just SOL?
I’m sure screens may crack but I’d have a hard time believing an iPhone (or any phone) is completely bricked during an accident, frequently.
I understand the call needs to be put through after the delays and whatnot, but we probably aren’t at the point yet where the crash detection could trigger fast enough and send out messages to emergency contacts or services some other way?
If you’re incapacitated or can’t control the touchscreen, crash detection will automatically alert first responders.
Crash detection may be new to the iPhone, but it’s not new technology. Are you sure you aren’t just looking for a problem where there isn’t one?
