Why doesn’t Apple take user feedback seriously?
Let’s take Siri for example. People have been sharing their experiences and feedback for years yet the product is generally not much better than it was on release. Sure it received a more fluid voice. But as far as its functionality it’s highly inaccurate.
Having to tell Siri to go away every time it’s used is simply unintuitive. The phrases it uses are immature at best. For example it will say “Uhh hu?” if you don’t speak fast enough. What in the California!?
Siri is has become the substandard of Virtual Assistants. Even pop culture continually rags on it.
Apple seems to care so little that it’s not even listed on the Product Feedback page. https://www.apple.com/feedback/
Are they afraid of criticism? Do they just not like their user base? Or are they simply smug?
I’m assuming the latter considering they call their employees Geniuses.
p.s. This was deleted from their user forum because it’s “not constructive”. So maybe they are just afraid of criticism.
