Hi all! I am just curious for thoughts on an interesting situation. I have a friend who is deeply insecure. She has a lot of jealousy/self worth issues. However, in particular there is one thing I am curious about. She will verbally state and insecurity then move to defend herself immediately before anyone can get a word of comfort in….
For example she will say I feel like I look fat but I know im not fat im not overweight I workout blah blah blah or I don’t hold a candle to this person BUT I know im a pretty girl I am attractive etc goes on and on. It is almost like she is arguing with herself?
Curious is any women on this sub have dealt with this inner dialouge themselves or with a friend and any tips on where it is stemming from/how to support
