Tips for how to go out and not get hit on. I went out with some girlfriends to hear a band play in a bar( dressed super casual, fleece jacket and jeans) and several of the men seemed to be on the prowl. What are the things you do to signal you don’t want to be approached?

So I received a lot of unwanted attention tonight when we were jammin’ to a honkytonk band and am not sure what I did to invite it. I am quite friendly, I do sometimes make brief eye contact with people but i think that’s just human nature. I was not wanting to be approached , or have men start rubbing my back or have drinks bought for me. It was weird, I’m in the process of a divorce and so I need some solid advice going forward, in the past if ever this came up (rarely), I’d just smile and say, no thanks, I’m married. But honestly, this is not my game, it’s new territory, I’m not experienced with the dating scene. I want to go have fun, know how to signal, “don’t approach me” while still being my happy self. I don’t want to force myself to frown or look mean to scare people though. So how do you balance it?
