This guy won’t talk to me in my third period but will in my sixth period?!

This guy won’t talk to me in third period but will say little things to me in our other classes?

So there is this guy, that I share four classes with out of six, and in my third period he sits to the top right of me. I tried making conversation in that class because why not? He seems like an ok dude, a little weird but who isn’t yk? So one day I’m there talking to the guy that sits in front of me and he’s lifting up the table, he says it the dude (let’s call him B) that was lifting up the table, not him (jokingly, I know it’s him), and I called his name to get his attention three times and I guess he didn’t hear me. Then in six period he says hi to me! But he just won’t talk to me in my third period (and we don’t really talk in our other periods because we both have semi-separate friend groups)

So what gives? What’s re some ways maybe I can talk to him because he acts like a typical highschool boy and I’m just trying to talk to the people at my table to make friends! Most of his friends talk to me it’s just him!
