Interesting that the Union cites “hostility” as the reason for withdrawing, whereas employees say there was no hostility and it was instead the Union that was acting recklessly and misleading staff.
As always, this is a PR game for both sides – however it seems in this case the Union will be burning more bridges than it builds.
