Help needed in self reflection. A question for fellow women of the world, and I would love some perspective from all walks of life. When your self identity clashes with your socially defined role, how do you know what’s the right decision? Case example: you are strong willed and independent. But for the greater good of yourself and your family you must make yourself small and meek and take on injustice at your own sacrifice. But this sacrifice will be seen as the obvious choice and not a sacrifice at all by those who benefits from it. What do you do and why?
I should state that I live in a first world country with lots of freedom of choice, being your individual person and women’s rights are loudly advocated.
