I really want to love you, Safari. You make my passwords so available. You make Apple Pay and switching from my iPhone or iPad seamless. But you create enough roadblocks in my work flow that I’ve got to move, once again, to Brave so things “just work” (like you and Steve promised you would).
Just one recent example: I’m creating a screencast in Descript, a lovely app to get stuff done in. It’s recorded, saved to their site for sharing (in the end: to YT), but it’s stuck, “Waiting to encode…” For HOURS!
Finally, I got suspicious it wasn’t Descript’s problem but yours. Hit Develop>Open page with>Brave, and boom, there it was, fully encoded, probably hours earlier.
There are enough niggling things like this between us, Safari, that just make me view you as less than my ideal mate. I’ve got work to do, and too often, you’re getting in the way.
Damn.
p.s. If you’re reading this and have any solutions to prevent this sad breakup, please jump in. Brave is so… so Googly, even though it’s not Google per se. I’m a Mac guy, not a PC guy.
