Yesterday I wanted to watch some fantasy action movie, I was really excited about it, but after half an hour I stopped. It’s one of those movies where there is like only one woman who plays an important role. And the whole reason why this role is female, is that this character can fall in love with the male lead. This ruins many movies for me. It wouldn’t annoy me so much if there would be more women playing more important characters. Or at least not make her fall for the male lead, this would already give her actuall purpose. There is nothing wrong with strong & warrior women to fall in love but, as I already mentioned, it seems to be their whole purpose of why they are even in the movie/ why they are female.
I already talked with a few friends about this and one told me that this doesn’t really bothers her but she gets where I’m coming from. I guess it also has alot to do with story-line preferences but it’s just really something that I can’t stand to see in a movie
