Like on the Home Screen it has the page “number” on the bottom changing to a search button that pulls up literally the same thing as swiping down
Some people (definitely met those IRL) didn’t know you can swipe down for search because there is no obvious clue on the home screen for it. I don’t see this button as a huge problem because you can revert to the old behavior in the settings
Or adding widgets to the Lock Screen when you can quickly swipe left and see the same thing
I don’t see a problem here either. Having something on a lock screen allows you to get information faster, especially if you have a new phone with AOD, you don’t even need to touch it. The old way is left for people who prefer it that way or need a lot of widgets that can’t fit on the lock screen
