If Find My is not turned off, the system detects that Activation Lock is enabled and will not allow the technician to finalize and save the repair. In addition, if Find My is reenabled during an open repair, lets say for instance parts are being shipped to a location to be allocated for your repair, the system will not allow updating and saving anything until Find My is off again.
