ProTip: Inserting text in a hyperlink within Apple Notes on iOS

There isn’t a easy way to create hyperlinks in Apples Notes for iOS. In Apple Notes on MacOS, you can easily insert a hyperlink by selecting the text you wish to create a link to and pressing CMD+K. This allows you to create custom text for a hyper link.

I’ve found some sort of bug (or hack?) to get this to work on iOS. Here’s what you do:

  1. Copy and paste link into your note where you want it

  2. Move the cursor within the link by holding down on the space bar and dragging the cursor

  3. Type whatever text you want

  4. Delete the front and back ends of the remaining link

It’s not ideal, but it works. Thought this might be helpful 🙂
