I noticed this too, but the other way around, the tips are just slightly too large for me. Planning on picking up some new replacement small tips from the Covent Garden Apple Store next time I go into the office.
I swapped the small tips to the medium ones, as on the small ones I used to use, the inner mesh broke from normal wear and tear.
Thinking nothing of it, I’ve been using those medium tips for the last few months. My left ear pod is absolutely fine, but my right ear pod falls out randomly. Sometimes I can feel it, sometimes I can’t, but its immediately noticable as the noise cancellation becomes one sided and the music weakens off.
I’ve just been lazy on getting some replacement ones, as I think thats the bane of my issue with the AirPods Pro ANC and General Fitment 🫡. My Max on the other hand… I’m still sure, despite only having anecdotal evidence from personal listening, they have weakened off a bit in the high end, but 🤷.
