Google has the kind of money to do this as a random experiment, so it was pretty easy to dismiss this news when we saw it from Chromium recently.
Mozilla, by contrast doesn’t have the kind of money to just throw away on a big change like this if it’s not going to lead somewhere. This leads me to believe changes are actually happening.
