For context, I was trying to get back with my ex.

I feel good when I’m around you, We have an incredibly similar sense of humor, I like how caring you are and that your heart is the purest out of any I’ve seen,

And most importantly, I want to redeem myself. Like I said, I feel like I didn’t put enough effort in, so if we got back together, I promise to give it everything I can.

Her: That’s very sweet of you 🙂 But like I said, I’m just not ready. I feel like with just me saying that makes you feel like you have another chance, but in my opinion, I don’t really like the idea of second chances when it comes to relationships. For me, I look at it as you get one chance. It’s also to deal with my religion. I feel like the Lord doesn’t want me to be in a relationship at the moment and if I had to chose someone, I would want someone who puts their faith first.
