It’s good that you are self-aware of your behaviors, your male-privilege, and potential to make her feel uncomfortable. Please just ask her if she wants you to check up on her or if she wants some space. If she asks for space, give it to her and don’t contact her outside of school again unless she asks you to 🙂
In the future please always be willing to ask people, especially women, how they would like to be treated when you are unsure. Try your best to listen and respect their wishes, but you can ALWAYS leave if you aren’t comfortable with it yourself. Best way to be a responsible man to the world and to yourself.
