Hey, I have experienced this at work several times, and I wonder if there is a word for it. For context, I’m a woman working in IT consulting.
I experience that some men question my conpetence in the way, that they keep asking me questions, often derailing into something completely irrelevant, until they find something I cant answer. When they reach the question I cant anser, they end the concersation there, leaving me with this terrible fustrated feeling, that I cant really explain.
Do you know if there is a english word for doing this?
