United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Information Management Specialist in Dnipro, Ukraine.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Information Management Specialist will perform the following functions:
- Leading the establishment of a strong IM function with a focus on 1) data quality assurance, data catalogue/databases, data visualization, 2)support to regional, sub-regional (sahel, chad lake basin, etc.) and country analysis, and 3) strengthening of country systems, in close collaboration with other CO teams (emergency, programmes, evaluation, operations)
- Increasing the use of information by UNICEF and partners through delivering of quality products (dashboards, infographics, maps, etc.) and supporting the mapping and reporting on the development and emergency programs.
- Building capacity for IM and humanitarian performance monitoring (HPM) to UNICEF staff, implementing partners and governments
- Strengthening response planning and monitoring, in all contexts ( humanitarian and development programs), with a particular focus on field monitoring using third parties (TPM).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Advanced university degree in information management, geographic information systems, Programme Monitoring, Social Sciences or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in information management, information systems, monitoring/evaluation, disaster management and preparedness or other related area.
- Relevant experience working in information management or humanitarian performance monitoring in complex emergency settings
- Prior UNICEF / UN system / Cluster field experience an asset.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of local language is an asset
