I love Notes! Why does it look different on each platform?

I use Notes every day to take note for my coaching clients, write articles, and even track recipes and holiday gifts. I love that I can track it on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air, and MacMini – and it syncs PERFECTLY.

But why does it look AMAZING on my iPad and not on my MacMini/Air?
