I feel like I need to spray perfume several times throughout the day for it to be noticeable?

I don’t know if this is the right subreddit for this topic, so my apologies if it isn’t.

Like I mentioned in the title, the smell of my perfume almost never lingers on. At first I thought that I just got used to the smell and didn’t notice it myself anymore, but I’ve recently asked some friends and they didn’t really notice anything either. I usually just take a shower in the morning, put on a lotion and then spray the perfume on a few times. Currently I’m using Miss Dior. Could the perfume be the cause for this?
