Although it’s probably partially because I’m figuring out my intimacy issues, I find that I just really love my me time. I can balance everything – work, school, friends, hobbies – and have the most wonderful time taking myself out on adventures and excursions.
The only reason I don’t always feel that way is because of the societal pressure on women to be attached to someone else, otherwise their life has little meaning. That thought ends up making me feel lonely and “lesser then” and pressured to find someone or something or start building a family.
My question is, how do you cope with that pressure?
I’m not looking for something like “remind yourself that’s not what you want or what everyone has to want”. I want to hear about your own experience and how you uniquely deal with that pressure.
