It’s just a joke I know but its just getting out of hand. At first it was, if a woman did something dumb they would just write “women☕️” which is still hypocritical cause if a man did something dumb its just him but if a woman did something dumb it’s every woman. But these days people are commenting “women☕️” just for women existing. I really ignored these comments at first but I’m just seeing it so much now and these comments doesn’t even make any sense what so ever. And jokes are supposed to be funny and I honestly don’t find it funny at all. Also since so many boys comment this, now contrariety to that some girls also started to write “men☕️” which I do understand why they started doing that but I don’t like it either cause its causing unnecessary gender wars for no reason.
Also I noticed that most of the people making this “women☕️” joke are from South Asia. I’m also from a South Asian country and this joke is pretty popular here. I don’t know about the other countries though. Also I’m not bashing South Asians and not everyone is the same but its just an observation.
Lastly, I wanted to say that there are many good men out there and I know it. And I feel like most of the people making this comment are probably young boys. I don’t think men who are focused on themselves have the time to mock women. And yes some women are bad but it still doesn’t mean people have to generalise almost half of the population. I made this post cause I’m constantly seeing this and its really getting annoying. I wish people would just stop this type of unnecessary jokes just to mock people.
