By realizing you’re the only you you’ve got, and knowing your discomfort often comes from a fear of the way others perceive you. Then recognizing that their perception doesnt matter.
Kind of a dumb example, but I used to hate dancing in public because I’m a bad dancer and I was always worried someone thought I looked funny. Then one day I realized that it literally doesn’t matter. First off, nobody is probably even paying attention to me and even if they were and laughed at me, I dont care. Its irrelevant. Now I dance and have fun!
Cut yourself some slack. Life is too short to worry about small things.
