How do we know if an Ai Can Think?

Well, we know it can “think” because it processes information. More than humans can, even.

But to find out if it’s self-aware is much more difficult. You’d have to be able to prove that it can perceive with an opinion of its own, and that’s not something easily done, because it would be nearly impossible to tell an AI that is thinking on its own from one that is just “speaking” as IF it can think on its own.
