How do we get Apple to listen to all us parents who can’t use Apples broken “ask to buy” feature?
Since it’s inception, this feature has been completely useless. The feature has clearly been designed buy someone at apple who haven’t got children with iphone or ipads them selves.
Here’s how the feature is marketed by Apple:
Use Ask to Buy to approve app store downloads on your child’s devices. Parents will get a notification describing what app the child has requested and can approve or decline the installation.
Sounds great? Indeed it does! For security reasons, most parents manage their children’s apple accounts and their children does not k ow their password.
But no. Apple designed the system so that the child has to type their password EVERYTIME they want to download an app, even with Ask to Buy enabled. This means that I as a parent have to goto their ipad and type in their password, making the ask to buy feature completely useless!!
How do we unite as parents and get Apple to fix this nonsense?!?
