My mum used to have long ass hair. I have long hair and she doesn’t know how to treat it. She pulls and brushes and doesn’t know how to dry it properly. She leaves it half sopping because she can’t be asked to do anymore.
When I stayed over at my aunts when we went up for my cousins wedding, she brushed and dried my hair two days after and she was so gentle. Id never known anything like it.
When my mums angry she takes it out on my hair. I want to set boundaries and say I can do it myself so I wouldn’t go to bed with damp hair but I don’t know how. I just want to shave it all off so she’d stop.
