Is there an implication that Microsoft/Linux has no legacy logic in its operating systems? Regex registry would disagree.
And people generally choose Linux for server deployment over windows mostly because it works significantly better then anything with windows. And Linux barely changes anything. Because there is no reason to.
I’ll do on a hill arguing how horrible windows is. Even modern windows. It’s just seems to get worse and worse.
And macOS isn’t perfect. No OS is. But it’s definitely better then windows.
