Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have:

• Advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, economics, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field or A first University Degree in a relevant field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national and / or international levels in programme/project planning and implementation, with a particular emphasis on education, skilling/training and equity.
• Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset.
• Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
• Fluency in English & Hindi (written and verbal) is required.
• Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
• Nationality of India.
