United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Partnerships and Fundraising Specialist in New Delhi, India.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Partnerships and Fundraising Specialist will perform the following functions:

  • Develop and implement annual partnership engagement and resource mobilization plans for YuWaah
  • Grow strategic long-term, flexible income through partners and board members to sustain YuWaah as a platform
  • Leading management of existing YuWaah partnerships (both local and global) with support from the Secretariat to enhance the engagement with partners, including reporting, their participation in governance and co-creation at YuWaah
  • Support the management of the board and leadership council at YuWaah
  • Support advocacy efforts of YuWaah with a particular focus on the private sector
  • Establish and manage partnerships that can help leverage funds for enhancing the goals of YuWaah
  • Provide inputs into partnerships plans and strategy for YuWaah
  • Report on progress basis timelines linked to donor reports and any other national or global reporting requirements
  • Establish programmatic and strategic relationships with existing and potential partners and stakeholders by overseeing YuWaah’s work with Solution Partners
  • Serve as the focal between YuWaah and UNICEF Resource Mobilisation section

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have:

  • An Advanced (Master’s) University degree in international development or social sciences or any other relevant field.
  • At least 5 year’s of practical professional work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in the development sector, focusing on partnerships and fundraising.
  • Prior knowledge of working with the UN is desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
  • Nationality of India.
