Why do you personally want to go commando, though? If it makes you self conscious and causes discomfort, you don’t have to do it?
I don’t wear undies, like, at home when I’m wearing cotton bike shorts/baggy tracks dacks. But the thought of wearing jeans or work trousers without undies gives me the heebie jeebies… if I’m wearing actual clothes I need a barrier between the crotch in-seam and my vulva for comfort, hygiene, and for the longevity of my clothing. Commando in jeans = you have to wash your jeans or microbes will pop off, smell, increase risk of some sort of infection. Washing jeans after each wear will quickly destroy the fibres and they will never be proper comfy.
I’ve literally never heard of people going commando unless they are wearing a tight dress or something and don’t want VPL. That said, if commando is your preference, all power to you. Just do what is comfortable for you, it’s your crotch and no one else’s.
