I love female friendships, there’s a lot of warmth in them. I love the support & empathy we’re giving to each other. Need to vent/cry? Say no more fam, I’m on my way with a tub of chocolate ice cream.
I get a lot of stimulation from our catch ups, discussing all matters from current tech, impact on tech on lifestyle, choices, & society, recent news or science breakthrough we read/watched, relationships advice, fashion tips & tricks, etc.
There’s a sense of satefy & comfort in them, that feel familiar but vastly different to romantic relationships.
Then there’s this special woman in our friend’s group, who view other women as competitors, borderline okay when there are only women, but plain rude when men are present (any men, not just a particular one she’s interested in). Cutting off other women, talking over them, and reeks of “not like other girls” vibe when commenting on what other women said. You all know this kind, “overly friendly” to men, hostile to other women.
Sigh… seriously? …Why? It’s not like we need more shit thrown at us, especially from fellow sis.
