Fear of sexual assault, rape and unsafe pregnancy in non-first-world countries… being a mom and having to give up professional dreams… not being able to travel as independently… drastic hormonal changes over the course of life that could hit you emotionally like a freight train… men lusting after you… being disrespected and less capable in motor skills… being less able to speak your voice… the list is endless
It sounds selfish, but we are biologically constructed to have men on top and abusive towards women… this is why especially developing nations need feminism to liberate women from how men naturally are. In this light, I’m so glad I can avoid the suffering and absurdity of being a woman. I’d find no joy or belonging in being one.
