I feel you. I (like a lot of us, I think) often feel the same, and sometimes it feels like a lot of pressure having to be confident all the time, independently on how you look. My take is – sometimes you’re just not, and that’s okay. It doesn’t make you a less interesting or cool or confident person; just makes you a person. If you’re feeling uncomfortable and fragile today and don’t enjoy the situation, it’s, imo, always fine to remove yourself from it. Reframing how you think about your body takes time and baby steps. Be kind to yourself, you can always try again when you’re feeling better!
