Hackers have made it abundantly clear that it is very possible to support older devices. On top of that, they’ve done it for free in their spare time.
The lack of older support might not necessarily constitute “anti-consumer behavior” in the US, but it may in the EU (who’s been pretty good at calling Apple on their BS).
My question is, are there any lawsuits coming up yet? Just in general, anything to hit their bottom line? There’s no reason something that hackers can do for free in their spare time shouldn’t have been in Apples wheelhouse to begin with except that they wanted more money. It’s clearly anti-consumer in action, if not in law.
