Kenya Planters Co-operative Union Finance Officer Jobs
Duties and Responsibilities
Gathering, compiling and analysing information on commitments and expenditure trends
Compiling information required on budget monitoring and expenditure control
Initiating reallocations within the budget
Participating in budget preparation;
Taking initial action on budget monitoring; and
Drafting reports and briefs on budgetary issues.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: – Commerce (Finance or Accounting Option), Business Administration (Finance or Accounting Option), Business Management (Finance or Accounting Option) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Certified Public Accountant II (CPA II) by Kenya Accounts and Secretaries Examination Board (KASNEB) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
An applicant with at least three (3) years working experience in similar position will have an added advantage
