Hmm it makes sense economically but it differs from Apple‘s past strategy as Gurman says. Their focus was on building the best product not just something that conquers market share. I guess this happens when you become the biggest company in the world but it is still a bit sad to see them go this way.
I dont doubt these products will be successful and fairly well designed but I would rather see them go big…
