They’re pretty much just begging to be regulated then. They have been presented ample opportunity to self-regulate and now that other governments are going to see the European example in action there is no reason they wouldn’t try and implement something similar.
Then Apple will have to deal with different regulations in different markets, all because they insisted on fighting change the whole way. Apple truly is an institutional corporation now; no agility, no risk-taking, they are just like Microsoft.
