Apple “Music+” and “Arcade+”?

apple-“music+”-and-“arcade+”?

So I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and it’s especially notable if you look on the Apple One website. Every Apple service except Music and Arcade have a + sign behind the name, even those like iCloud that were already paid but didn’t have them at first.

It’s obvious that Apple is moving to a system where they offer a free tier of something, and a paid tier on a subscription basis. (This is a little different with TV where you have to buy stuff in the free tier, but still)

This got me thinking about a free Music and Arcade tier, could we see a Spotify like Apple Music tier that’s free, ad supported and limited skip and individual track availability?

As for Arcade, I’m not exactly clear on how it would work. Ad supported games? Just some games in the free tier? In game purchases?

What are your thoughts on this? And do you expect Apple to go with a + tier for all their services?
